On August 4th, Alex was not feeling well and was taken to the emergency room. She was found to be in an abnormal heart rhythm and was quickly taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital. The next day, we received difficult news that she had suffered from a stroke. Alex experienced many side effects of the stroke; some have resolved, but unfortunately, some remain. She has worked so hard to recover and gets better every day. Her doctors have decided she will require inpatient rehab to help her gain strength and hopefully make a full recovery.

At this time, we ask her friends and family to come together and donate to help her with the financial burden that comes with an extended hospital stay. Alex is strong, fiercely loyal, and the sweetest person in the world. She would give you the shirt off her back and help anyone in need. We just want to give back to her and help her as she has helped so many around her!
