Help My Little Brother Fight MS with Strength, Courage, and Hope

`
My name is Rafael, and I’m raising funds for my little brother, Alex Aybar, who is bravely living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). He is not only my brother — he is my closest friend, my inspiration, and the person whose strength has shaped my own.

What makes him truly unique is his incredible determination. No matter how overwhelming his battle with MS becomes, he refuses to give up. Even when the fight seems impossible, he pushes forward with a resilience that leaves everyone around him in awe.

He is deeply family‑oriented, always putting the people he loves first. He has a genuine passion for education — whether he’s learning something new or helping someone else understand it. That love for knowledge has always been a core part of who he is, and it continues to shine through even on his hardest days.

Every morning, he wakes up in pain because of this disease. And yet, he does everything he can to hide it, not wanting others to worry. That quiet courage, that willingness to carry so much without complaint, is something I admire more than I can ever express.

MS is a chronic and unpredictable disease that affects the nervous system, making everyday tasks exhausting and often painful. Treatments, therapies, and essential equipment that could improve his quality of life are extremely expensive, and the financial burden has become overwhelming for our family.

That’s why we have set our fundraising goal at a number that reflects the true cost of the care he needs, both now and in the long term. This isn’t just a goal; it represents hope, stability, and the chance for my brother to focus on healing instead of worrying about how to afford the care that could change his life.

Where the funds will go:

• Stem Cell Treatment & Recovery Costs
One of the most promising options for slowing MS progression. Treatment can range from $15,000 to over $25,000, not including travel, lodging, and recovery. Follow‑up care adds even more.

• Long‑Term Medical Care
MS requires constant monitoring, specialist visits, imaging, and testing. Even with insurance, out‑of‑pocket costs are extremely high.

• Medications & Infusions
Many MS medications are expensive and not fully covered. These treatments are essential for managing symptoms and slowing the disease.

• Therapy & Rehabilitation
Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other supportive treatments help maintain strength and independence, but they are ongoing and costly.

• Mobility Equipment & Home Modifications
As MS affects mobility, items like braces, walkers, wheelchairs, ramps, or home adjustments may be needed to keep him safe and mobile.

• Daily Living Support
Transportation, home care, and other essential needs that ease the burden on him and our family.

Every contribution — no matter the size — brings us closer to giving my brother the support, relief, and stability he deserves. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this campaign can make a tremendous difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read his story, and thank you for standing with us as my brother continues to fight MS with strength, courage, and hope.
