Alex was recently diagnosed with stage 2 cancer, and our lives changed from one day to the next. Everything has moved very quickly: he already had his first surgery, and soon he will have a second, more invasive surgery, along with 3 chemotherapy cycles of 21 days each. It has been a very difficult and overwhelming stage.

Seeing someone you love go through this process is one of the hardest experiences I’ve ever lived. I’m trying to stay strong for my husband, but the emotional and financial weight is very heavy. And it’s not just me: his parents and siblings are also struggling emotionally alongside him, doing everything they can to stay strong as they support him every step of the way.

Between medical appointments, treatments, and the time Alex must take off work, we are facing expenses we never imagined and were not prepared to cover.

This is now part of Alex’s story, and those who know him know he is a fighter. I know he will overcome this stage and come out stronger than ever, but right now we need help to get through this very hard situation.

Alex fue diagnosticado recientemente con etapa 2 cáncer, y nuestra vida cambió de un día para otro. Todo ha avanzado muy rápido: ya tuvo su primera cirugía, y pronto tendrá una segunda cirugía más invasiva, además de 3 ciclos de quimioterapia de 21 días cada uno. Ha sido una etapa muy difícil y abrumadora.

Ver a alguien que amas pasar por este proceso es una de las experiencias más difíciles que he vivido. Estoy tratando de mantenerme fuerte por mi esposo, pero el peso emocional y financiero es muy duro. Y no solo yo: sus padres y hermanos también están luchando emocionalmente junto a él, haciendo todo lo posible por mantenerse fuertes mientras lo apoyan en cada paso.

Entre las citas médicas, los tratamientos y el tiempo que Alex debe ausentarse del trabajo, estamos enfrentando gastos que nunca imaginamos ni estábamos preparados para cubrir.

Esto ahora es parte de la historia de Alex, y quienes lo conocen saben que es un luchador. Sé que superará esta etapa y saldrá más fuerte que nunca, pero en este momento necesitamos ayuda para atravesar esta situación tan dura.
