I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my uncle, Alex, who at just 46 years old is facing the fight of his life. Alex has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic colon cancer, and although he has already undergone surgery, it has now spread to his lungs and the road ahead is incredibly difficult.

He will need to endure months of aggressive treatments that will leave him weak and unable to work, putting an immense strain on him and his family. Alex is the sole provider for his wife and four young children, ranging from 5 to 14 years old, and without his income, they are at risk of losing the stability he has always worked so hard to provide.

Before his diagnosis, Alex was the proud owner of DaVinci’s, a restaurant in Rochester, NY, where he created a close-knit community. His kindness and generosity were unmatched, offering not only delicious food but also job opportunities to those who needed it most—many of whom were immigrants trying to make a new life.
