Hello everyone, my name is Alexis Gonzalez. I tore my ACL playing soccer in the very first game of my college season — the beginning of what was supposed to be my college soccer career. It was devastating, especially because playing at this level has always been my dream.

Soccer has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and this injury hasn't changed my determination to come back stronger and continue playing the sport I love. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get surgery right away due to the financial burden it placed on my family. The medical costs for surgery, rehab, and recovery have been overwhelming.

I'm asking for any kindness and support through donations to help cover my surgery and recovery so I can get back on the field and keep chasing the dream I've worked so hard for. Hola a todos, mi nombre es Alexis Gonzalez. Me rompí el ligamento cruzado anterior jugando fútbol en el primer partido de la temporada universitaria, el comienzo de lo que se suponía que sería mi carrera futbolística universitaria. Fue devastador, sobre todo porque jugar a este nivel siempre ha sido mi sueño. El fútbol ha sido una parte fundamental de mi vida desde que tengo memoria, y esta lesión no ha mermado mi determinación de volver más fuerte y seguir practicando el deporte que amo. Desafortunadamente, no pude operarme de inmediato debido a la carga económica que esto representaba para mi familia. Los costos médicos de la cirugía, la rehabilitación y la recuperación han sido abrumadores. Les pido su generosidad y apoyo a través de donaciones para ayudar a cubrir los gastos de mi cirugía y recuperación, para poder regresar a la cancha y seguir persiguiendo el sueño por el que tanto he trabajado.
