Support Alexis's Family in Their Time of Need

Hello,

I am Alexis (32) , a single mother of four amazing children (ages 12, 8, 5, and 1). Currently, I am a full-time student at WCCCD, set to graduate in December. Despite not working, I have diligently managed to own and upkeep our home since 2014. Unfortunately, we recently encountered a dire situation where our residence suffered significant damage from persistent flooding, leading to a distressing termite infestation during the cleanup process. Ensuring the safety and well-being of my children is my utmost priority, prompting us to vacate our home due to these circumstances with only the clothes on our backs.

Although I am actively engaging with state resources to secure assistance and funding for the essential repairs, there is a required process to navigate. Meanwhile, I am turning to our community for support in acquiring temporary housing, extermination services, and replenishing our basic necessities.

My aspiration is to restore our home and establish a secure and nurturing environment for my children. Any form of aid is profoundly valued, whether it be financial contributions, clothing donations, offers of temporary lodging to avoid shelter placement, or connections to support services that can aid us in rebuilding our lives.
