My name is Alexis, and if I’m being honest, making this GoFundMe is something I never imagined I would have to do. Losing my job after the closure of Spirit Airlines has been devastating emotionally and financially. For years, I poured my heart into this career, and overnight everything changed. Being vulnerable enough to ask for help is uncomfortable for me because I’ve always been the type to figure things out on my own, but right now I’m doing my best to stay afloat while navigating this unexpected loss of income and rebuilding my life. This transition has come with a lot of uncertainty, stress, and fear about what comes next, but I’m remaining hopeful and determined to get back on my feet.
