Support Alexis in Her Fight Against Triple Negative Breast Cancer

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this for my dear friend Alexis, who has been fighting Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Triple Negative Breast Cancer. This is an aggressive cancer, and she is already about halfway through a long and incredibly demanding treatment journey.

If you know Alexis, you know the kind of person she is. She is deeply giving, thoughtful, and one of those rare people who shows up quietly and consistently without ever expecting anything in return. She is authentic, considerate, and genuinely cares about the people in her life. She is the person who checks in, who helps, who remembers, and who carries others when they’re struggling.

When my daughter Mariam was battling cancer, Alexis was there for me in ways I will never forget. During one of the hardest seasons of my life, she showed up with empathy, kindness, and steady support. She didn’t make it about herself. She just loved us through it.

Now Alexis needs that same support.

She has not been able to work for nearly a year while going through treatment, and the financial strain has become overwhelming. She has been paying her own insurance premiums and healthcare costs throughout this entire journey, on top of everyday living expenses. Being halfway through treatment doesn’t mean the hardest parts are behind her. It means there is still a long road ahead with continued care, recovery, and mounting medical costs.

My hope is that we can help relieve some of that burden so she can focus on healing instead of worrying about how to keep up with insurance payments, medical bills, and basic necessities.
