Support Alexis Rodriguez and Her Baby's Recovery

My name is Alexis Rodriguez I am a single mother and on June 25th I went to my OB appointment and they found protein in my urine along with a dangerously high blood pressure so I was sent to the hospital in town. From there I was sent to Savannah with pre eclampsia when I got to Savannah I was told I needed to stay until I was 34 weeks and deliver my baby boy which was a little under a week. After a very scary c-section they sent him to the nicu and he was put on a cpap machine along with tube feeds and had to stay in a warmer because he couldn’t keep his temperature. I was soon discharged from the hospital and had to stay in hotels to try and stay as close as possible to my baby because Ronald McDonald was full! I quickly ran out of funds and realized it was cheaper to drive the two hours there everyday to see him so I started to do that. He was there for 3 weeks learning to breathe on his own,hold his temperature, and learn how to eat. He was sent home July 21st and I was so excited to finally have my baby home and be able to spend time with both of my children. Then on August 11th my tiny boy was admitted to the picu at Wolfsons children hospital with apnea and he ended up having to be put back on the cpap machine to help him through all the apnea spells. They did every test possible from urine samples blood samples even a spinal tap and he came back with para flu so after he got better we were sent home on August 14th and I truly thought we were done with hospital stays but on August 26th I started to notice all the same symptoms were back but no apnea so I thought no problem just a cold I can handle this but the next day he seemed to be having apnea again so I took him back to the hospital and back on the cpap machine he went, right along with all the test and another spinal tap to be told he has the rino virus we are currently still at the hospital and I am at a loss. I don’t know what to do. This has taken a toll on my parents and I financially from they having to take off a lot of days from work to help with me and my kids and me not being able to work and I just need some help at this point Im not able to return back to work just yet. All in all I just want my baby to get better but I’m asking if anyone can possibly help me with funds to cushion the blow and take some of the weight off of myself and my parents.
