I am reaching out because I have recently fallen on hard times due to a serious medical condition. Over the past months, I have been hospitalized every month, which has forced me to work only part time. Now, I have been told that I need life changing surgery, and as a result, I will be unable to work for at least three months while I recover. This news has been overwhelming, not just because of the health challenges, but also because I am responsible for supporting my kids and keeping a roof over our heads.

During my recovery, I will still need to pay rent and utilities, and make sure there is food on the table for my children. Without my regular income, covering these basic needs will be extremely difficult. I am doing everything I can to prepare, but I know I can’t do it alone.
