Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

On February 28, our world was turned upside down when a devastating fire tore through our home, leaving everything we’ve worked so hard for reduced to ashes. In an instant, we lost not only our possessions but also the safe space where countless memories were made.

In 2000, my dad picked out this house to move my family from NJ. Since then, I have taken over the family house and raised my own children here. This was the first home to several babies in the family. Most recently, it has been home to myself, my son, and my significant other, Terrell Martin.

Thankfully, no one was home and we are all safe, but the emotional and financial toll of losing everything is overwhelming. Now, we’re faced with starting over from scratch, with nothing but the clothes on our backs.

As we begin to process the magnitude of what has happened, we are reaching out for help. The road to recovery will be long and difficult, and while we are doing everything we can to rebuild, we need your support.
