On December 13th, 2025, Alexis and her family endured an unimaginable tragedy while on their first family vacation in Florida. In the early morning hours, a tragic incident occurred involving one-year-old Azariah. Emergency services were contacted, but despite all efforts, Azariah was pronounced deceased at AdventHealth Celebration in Osceola County, Florida.

Azariah was a sweet, loving, joyful, and charismatic little girl. She was enjoying her first family trip in Florida while watching and cheering on her brother at his AAU football championship game. Azariah lit up every room she entered. She had just become a big sister seven months ago and adored her siblings with all her heart. This tragedy is every parent’s worst nightmare!

Alexis, a devoted mother of three, is now facing the heartbreaking task of handling funeral arrangements on her own during the holiday season. Since this tragedy occurred in Florida, she must not only cover the costs of burial but also arrange for Azariah’s body to be transported back home to Maryland.
