Support Alexi’s Gender Affirming Surgery

Help me live my authentic, handsome Squidward self in achieving my final stages of gender-affirming care.

After years of on-again-off-again access to healthcare, I finally have the opportunity to complete some of the final stages in my medical transition.

This year I took a job with better medical coverage to finally have the opportunity to have facial masculinization surgery. Even though I am blessed with a beard, I would love to feel more at home in my body without it so I will be having FMS with the immensely talented team at Gender Confirmation Center in SF on March 12th with Dr. Alexander Facque.

In light of recent political events, I feel immense pressure to pursue this life-changing care while I have the capacity to do so (& while the country/ insurance supports my decision too)

So far my out-of-pocket financial responsibility is $3,200 for the procedures & is due on January 28th, 2025. (Hospital Fee, Scans, Labs, and anesthesiology not included & tbd)

I am fortunate enough to work remotely and have my partners support in my aftercare, so I am only looking for support in terms of the procedure itself.

As someone who has worked in trans healthcare for the last 4 years, I have navigated so many folks journeys to receiving life-saving gender confirmation and it’s finally time for me to prioritize my own journey.
