Support Alexis' Fight Against Multiple Sclerosis

Donation protected
I'm reaching out for help with my daughter Alexis' medical bills. My daughter is a healthy 20-year-old who woke up 2 months ago with a stiff neck; we just assumed she slept wrong. A few weeks later, her arms and hands went numb, then from her waist down, she was numb. I immediately took her to the emergency room. They took her back for a 3-hour MRI and came back with devastating news: she had multiple sclerosis with lesions all over her brain, spinal cord, and back. They kept her 5 days in ICU to give her an extended dose of steroids to stop the progression.

Unfortunately, she does not have insurance and is unable to work until she has feeling back. The steroids she's on at home are very expensive and are a must to stop the damage it's doing to her nervous system. We have applied for disability, and we know that takes months to receive an answer, so we are asking for any kind of help. Alexis lives on her own; she's a very independent young lady, and we are hoping to keep it that way. This is a lot for her to take in right now, and we are taking it one day at a time.
