Hi everyone,
Below is a message from Alexis.
Thank you for your continued support! ❤️

These last few days have been a rollercoaster of emotions and memories. I have been so blessed with all the love and support my kids and myself have received. I never imagined I would be sitting here in this position. Your outreach from meals, donations, flowers and hugs has been felt and needed beyond any words I can form at this time. I wish I could reach out and hug each one of you and let you know that everything that has been done has been appreciated and helped during this difficult time. I’m trying to figure out the celebration of life and will post as soon as I have all the information. Thank you doesn’t seem to cover it, the kids and my I are still trying to figure out the next steps. Many blessings to you all!

Hi, my name is Dorothy,

On February 13th, I received a text from my good friend, Alexis Peloquin. “ Dorothy, I just got a call that Rick had a heart attack and died”. I immediately called her and begged, “Please tell me this is a joke”. Her sobbing told me otherwise.

Rick was not only a husband and father, he was Alexis’ best friend. He was her taxi driver, helping Alexis locate the unsheltered and pass out meals on Thanksgiving and Christmas. He was a loving father to Cole and Caden. He was that guy who would selflessly give his coworker a ride from Tacoma to Snoqualmie Pass on Xmas Eve, so the coworker could visit her son. Rick loved to help anyone in need, he was always the first to show up and lend a helping hand, take you to the airport or help with chores.

Some other things you may not know about Rick; he was a major sneaker head! He had more sneakers than Alexis and dominated their shoe closet.

Rick knew all the dad jokes. He was a prankster and loved to razz family and friends.

Rick loved working major events and took pride in taking care of celebrities and event goers.
He always took pride in any job he did. He would fight for his employees and really cared about them all.

2023 was a tough year for the Peloquin family. They had to replace a car engine, Alexis had two major surgeries from which she is still recovering, three (yes three!) car accidents and a job change for Rick.

Alexis, Cole and Caden have lost their friend, dad, husband. They have also lost Rick’s contribution to their family income.

They would appreciate your help as they work to cover loss of income, funeral expenses, and housing expenses. Any amount is appreciated.

Thank you!
