Support Alexis and Her Kids Through Tough Times

My name is Alexis I am a single mother of 3. This summer we have had a really tough time my oldest has autism and was living with a family member, but due to them not being able to handle him and threatening to put a 11 year old in a facility and saying they would put his head through a wall he came back to live with me. That happened on May 5 and ever since then they have been withholding his benefits from SSI to pay their own household expenses. I have started an investigation with SSI office. I currently work as a Lyft and Uber driver but because it’s just me I can only drive during school hours and the summer I wasn’t able to drive too much. In July I was definitely unable to drive due to my daughter who is 9 years old letting me know that a family member who we all trusted was Sexually abusing her for months. And as her mother I believe her and notified the police which resulted in a suicide after hours of police surrounding the property. As you can see our family has been through a very difficult situation the entire summer and still dealing with the trauma. Where my daughter receives therapy. Also it has gotten to the point where my daughter doesn’t want me to leave her side unless she is at school, and due to the events and her past history of being physically abuse by her biological father and his wife she has been diagnosed with CHRONIC PTSD as a 9 year. With just me keeping my family together it does put a financial burden with me falling behind on bills due me only doing Lyft and Uber. It puts wear and tear on the only vehicle we have and once I make some money I have to put half of it into gas. My children’s fathers are not in their lives which was their decision, one due to the physical abuse my daughter has basically forgotten about her father and my oldest his father just doesn’t care. But with his autism Mom (me) is really all he knows cause I’m physically there. I my job of being their mom never stops because I am all they really have and because of the certain events they no longer leave my side or refuse to leave my side.
