My name is Alexa Jalomo. I am starting this GoFundMe to help my mom and sisters. Their house burned down unexpectedly this past Wednesday, January 29th, 2025, with almost nothing being salvageable. Unfortunately, the house did not have insurance.

Wednesday night around 10 PM, everyone was getting ready for bed. My mom had a heat lamp bulb on and shelter for her outside dogs for the cold nights. The bulb exploded and started the fire. My little sister, Genesis, was showering when she smelled something burning. In a matter of 5 minutes, the fire began. My middle sister, Kimberly, saw the fire, and the flames started to spread rapidly and aggressively. God helped my sister Kimberly be brave and act fast to try and get all of the outside dogs, inside dogs, and cats outside to safety. She also managed to get the car keys for the vehicles they had. The vehicles were already starting to feel hot as they were right next to the house. Thankfully, they were able to move the vehicles before their mini split exploded, making the fire worse. She ran into the fire again to try and get Genesis' school backpack that had her laptop, but it was all smoke, and she was unable to. Despite Kimberly's efforts to save the animals, some of the outside dogs and cats did not make it.

Thankfully, my sisters and mom got checked out. They are safe. Kimberly was given an inhaler as she had the most smoke intake and might develop asthma. We need support to get them the essentials and try to get them back on their feet. We are asking for a lot of prayer, and if you can donate, we would appreciate it, no matter the amount.
