Hello everyone!

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read why I am asking for your help to raise funds. For those of you who do not know me, my name is Alexa Martinez. Three things I love in this world, include food, travel and most importantly, my family!

I am a proud First-generation, Hispanic, college student. I attend San Diego State University, and I am in my third year at the Payne School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. I have been blessed with the opportunity to study abroad in Seville, Spain in the Fall of 2025. The blessing to travel abroad has been a dream of mine since I watched the Cheetah Girls movie on the Disney Channel. If you know me, you know I love this movie! However, I didn't choose Spain because of this movie, I chose Spain because it is a beautiful country filled with food, people, churches, architecture, and so much culture. While abroad, I will be taking Hospitality classes that assist in completing my degree. I want to travel all over Spain and even outside of Spain, like Italy, Germany, Ireland, and more!

Studying abroad is an exciting opportunity, but it comes with significant costs. I am raising funds to help cover my study abroad tuition and pursue a life-changing educational experience. Your kindness would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in making this experience a reality.
