Hi, I'm Eldhana Kibret, and I am a new Junior Volunteer at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. I recently became a volunteer and underwent training, and it was evident how much the staff and volunteers care about the animals and the community. The AWLA has countless outreach programs and gives back to the community in so many ways, as well as taking in hundreds of animas and giving them the care they need before sending them to a loving home. All of the staff and volunteers that I have met are some of the kindest people you have ever met and they work so hard to support and care for the animas at the shelter. However, there are lots of costs associated with running an animal shelter, as I'm sure you could guess. If you're interested in donating money to the cause and helping out all these homeless animals, this is your chance. All of these animals deserve a loving home, and you can help make that happen.
