Hi, my name is Les Tapia and I am setting this Go Fund me up for my 16-year-old cousin Alexandra and Aunt Roberta. This all started with horrible pain in Alexandra's lower back and sciatic region. She was seen at 3 different hospitals with just being told it was her sciatic nerve. Because they don't have insurance, they refused to even try performing an MRI. Then an amazing nurse named Gladys De La Cruz told my aunt about Scottish Rite hospital. They went there and the doctor requested an emergency MRI, which then discovered a tumor in the sciatic region anywhere from 6 to 12 inches long. They were able to relieve the pain in her sciatic and sent it off for a biopsy. The biopsy came back positive for Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. We request your help to cover medical expenses and time off of work my aunt. She's also helping raise her 3 granddaughters.
