Hello!

I am Alexandra Bonner and I was selected amongst hundreds of applicants to partake in the amazing learning journey in the Black Girls Film Camp 2024 Cohort, where I am able to produce and direct my very first short film!

I have raised some funds for my short film, titled "The Gift and the Curse". And we wrapped filming on May 4, 2024!

June 22, 2024 was my official screening in Charlotte!

Thank you to EVERYONE who generously donated!

NOW I would like to raise funds to create more films and attend one or more of the upcoming film festivals this fall and winter.

A few examples include:

TRIBECA • TORONTO • SUNDANCE • MARTHA’S VINEYARD BLACK FILM FESTIVAL

if you have any questions, or would like to follow my journey, follow my Instagram @alexandrabfilms.

Any donation will be appreciated and as always, thank you everyone for the support!
