Urgent: Help Digital Archdeacon Keep Telling the Anglican Story

For months now, Ven. Alexander Uzor, an Anglican clergyman serving in a rural diocese in the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), has been using a borrowed professional camera to create videos for the Digital Archdeacon Facebook page. Through this platform, he teaches Anglicanism, simplifies our history, liturgy, tradition, and heritage, and shares inspiring news, stories, interviews, and documentaries about the Anglican Church.

This borrowed camera has been a blessing, but it is not his own. The owner now needs it back, and when that happens, Alexander will be left with nothing to continue this vital mission.

The work of Digital Archdeacon is more than just making videos. It is about preserving and sharing the faith, history, worship, and witness of the Anglican Church with the world. From explaining the beauty of liturgy to capturing parish celebrations to recording testimonies of God’s grace, Alexander is using digital media technology to bring Anglicanism to people in nations far beyond his rural setting.
