Help Alex’s Fight Against Testicular Cancer
Donation protected
Update: Alex graduated from 5th grade this past week and has officially started round 3 of 4 in his chemotherapy treatment. We are incredibly proud of his strength and the hard work he continues to put in every single day.
He wanted to personally thank all of you for your generous donations, meals, and most importantly, your prayers. Your support means the world to our family.

I wanted to provide an update on Alex’s fight against cancer, a battle he’s facing at the young age of 11. Yes, you read that right—he just turned 11 on January 7th. On October 28th, 2024, we received the heartbreaking news that Alex has cancer. As a child, he didn’t fully understand the gravity of the situation, but he’s been incredibly brave through it all.
He underwent a grueling 6-hour surgery to remove a 5-pound tumor just two weeks before Thanksgiving. The very next week, he began chemotherapy. Since then, we’ve been in and out of the hospital as he struggles with weight loss, sickness, and a weakened immune system.
We’re reaching out to ask for continued prayers for strength and healing during this challenging time. We also need help financially, as we’ve had to miss work to be with Alex, and the bills continue to pile up. Your support—through prayers, donations, meals, and kind words—has carried us through the past two months, but we’re facing a few more months of struggle.
Alex is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, and he never knew just how many people cared about him. Thank you to everyone who has helped so far. Please continue to pray and show your support as we navigate the road ahead.
With gratitude,
Alex and Family
