Support alexa through myositis & scleroderma

As some of you may know, Alexa was recently diagnosed on February 14th with a rare autoimmune disease called dermatomyositis. This disease weakens your muscles, creates a painful rash on your skin, and affects your ability to walk talk, and swallow.

 Before the diagnosis Alexa has been battling this for months, she was constantly going to see doctors and specialists to try and find answers which made her miss work. Since Alexa has been diagnosed her symptoms have been severely getting worse every day. She has no way to function everyday tasks without someone there assisting her. This has affected her ability to work, drive, and complete basic tasks around the house. As of Tuesday, March 8th Alexa was admitted to the hospital, as her health has been declining and her body has become weaker, she barely has the strength to breathe on her own.

 Unfortunately, the treatment for Dermatomyositis is treated by an aggressive steroid but Alexa is also diabetic, and the steroids will spike her blood sugars potentially causing more issues. As her doctors work on a treatment plan it is suggested that Alexa will be moved into a rehabilitation facility and might take months for her to regain the strength she once had.  

 Her partner, Cycillia has been her primary caregiver and the full-time supporter of the house. The donations will be used to cover the preexisting medical bills, her current expenses, and future medical bills as this is a long-term condition.
