Alex is an artist, author, photographer, and fashion designer whose creativity has touched so many people around him. Right now, Alex is facing one of the most difficult chapters of his life after doctors discovered a mass inside his brain. Alex has spent the last two months suffering with extreme pain as a result of the mass.

At this time, there are still many unknowns. We do not yet know exactly what the mass is, whether it is cancerous, or what the long term outcome may look like. Because of the location and complexity of the surgery, there is also a possibility of neurological deficits following the operation. Alex will have surgery on May 8th, 2026.

This GoFundMe has been created by his best friend Hana to help support Alex through this incredibly uncertain time and to support his dreams, creativity, healing, and future as he navigates what lies ahead. Funds will go toward medical related expenses, recovery, daily living support, and helping Alex continue pursuing the passions and art that make him who he is.

Alex’s surgery went well! All tumour was removed and so far he is doing well. We need to continue to support him during his recovery and as we wait for pathology results in the coming days.
