Alex Spectre is 22 and known for his quick wit, creativity, and relentless work ethic. After losing both parents, Alex learned to rely on himself and always found a way to keep moving forward. He’s a familiar face at Ten Mile Distillery in Wassaic, NY, where he works hard and keeps everyone laughing, all while dreaming of walking again and living the life he deserves. On the morning of May 17th 2025, everything changed when a tire blew out on his drive home to Danbury, CT. The accident left him trapped and seriously injured—broken neck, snapped leg, shattered hand, and months of recovery ahead. Two months later, Alex still can’t walk on his own, and the path back is tough.
With no immediate family, Alex’s friends have stepped up as his support system. We’ve seen him face every challenge with humility and grit, never asking for help, always just getting things done. Now, as he recovers in a care facility, the bills are piling up—medical costs, rent, food, therapy, and the basics of daily life. Alex is the last person to ask for a handout, but we know he deserves a shot at getting back to the life he built for himself.
We’re reaching out to help Alex get back on his feet—literally and figuratively. Every bit goes toward his recovery, living expenses, and the essentials he needs to start over. If you’ve ever had a friend who’d do anything for you, you know the kind of person Alex is. Thanks for helping us help him.
