HELLO, This is a fund raiser for James Alex Osbon. Alex was born with a rare condition known as bladder extrophey where his bladder is on the outside of his body. At birth he was immediately flown to John’s Hopkins Hospital for treatment. Since then he has been in and out of hospitals over the years fighting for his life. In recent months it has become necessary for him to begin kidney dialysis.
Alex started getting even sicker about 4 years ago with antibiotic resistant kidney infections and end stage kidney failure. The doctors have told Alex that he will need long term care including Home Hemo Dialysis. Because of this Alex is needing to make some additions to his home to prepare for the weekly delivery of 300 to 500 pounds of medical supplies that he will be receiving for the rest of his life. Because of his rare condition Alex is not eligible for a kidney transplant.
Alex and his wife Sarah who has Crohn's disease and other serious health conditions live in an upstairs apartment. We want to fund the building of an upstairs deck and cargo lift in order to deliver the 300 to 500 pounds of medical supplies needed weekly for his dialysis treatment to a room on the 2nd floor. The deck will also provide a place where can Alex be outside some while at home.
Alex and Sarah have made over 100 trips for medical treatments in 2023 alone. We hope to raise at least $20,000 with this Go Fund Me project. Any surplus or extra donations will go to Alex and Sarah to help with their continuing medical expenses.
Just to let you know a little about Alex and Sarah, for the past 20 years, they have both given their lives as unpaid missionaries ministering to children at Christ Central and then at Steppingstones Outreach Ministry. At the link below you can listen to one of Alex’s most recent online sermons which was on Mother's day.

I and many others believe Alex and Sarah are very worthy individuals who certainly need some financial help due to their extenuating circumstances.
Please consider donating today. Sharing this with others will help get the word out.
*This project has been setup to send all donations directly to Alex for him to transfer into his bank account.
Thank you for your generosity. Together I know we can make a big difference in Alex and Sarah's lives.
God Bless,
Pat Hopkins
