Story

Hi, we're Alex and Niccy! We're a couple with a dream: to sail around the world aboard our beloved boat, Tauha. At this point in our lives, it feels like a “now or never” kind of journey, so we’ve decided to go for it. But that also means doing it on a tight budget, working hard every day to get Tauha and us ready for the high seas. Unfortunately, after just our second sailing trip, our Genoa sail (the one at the front) was completely torn. We managed to patch it temporarily, but it’s no longer reliable for longer crossings. We’re also in need of a spare mainsail, and our storm jib requires serious repairs. Even though we’re searching for second-hand options, sails are still expensive and that’s where we could really use your support. Every dollar raised will go directly toward new sails for Tauha, bringing us one step closer to setting off on this adventure.
