Our family is reaching out with a heavy heart to share my father’s story. Recently, our dad, Alex Nelson, (64) received a devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 Metastatic Prostate Cancer and the news has left our family in shock and sorrow.
Alex had been dealing with persistent pain in his lower back and chest. At first, he hoped the pain would subside on its own, but as it worsened, he sought medical help. The diagnosis was a crushing blow, and we’re now facing the reality of his limited time.
This gofundme will go towards my dad’s cost of alternative care options and to help manage everyday living expenses and medical bills. The alternative care is not covered by insurance and may help in prolonging his life.
Our goal is to relieve some of the financial stress so Dad can focus on making the most of the time he has left.
