Hi friends and family! We have set up this GoFundMe to help support our lifelong friend Alex Johnson with rising medical bills. Starting in June she had an injury to her knee that required surgery. Just several weeks later she required surgery for a completely different medical emergency. It has been one thing after another due to complications and several nights spent in the hospital. She works as a CNA at Mission Hospital in Asheville NC and absolutely adores her job and caring for people. She has currently been out of work since June and returned in December only to be told she needs surgery again for both her knee and other complication as well. With the cost of medical bills rising and being out of work for months and possibly several more weeks to come, you can imagine the extra stress added onto an already hard situation. If you know Alex, you know she would never ask for help on her own and truly just wants to get back to caring for others.
