Alex suffered a terrible accident while hiking through Big Cottonwood Canyon on Sunday, March 22. He broke several bones in his spine and ribs, and has considerable internal damage. Between the ambulance rides, hospital stay, countless follow-up visits and X-rays, and possibility of surgery, the costs have added up quickly. On top of the medical challenges, both Alex and his wife have had to take time off work, which has made their financial situation even more difficult.
