Hello:

As you all know, wildfires are raging across Southern California. Alex Ferreira, a friend and colleague, has lost his home and belongings in the Eaton Fire.

It is likely going to take some time for insurance to be sorted out, and I wanted to give an opportunity for people to tangibly help someone directly affected.
