We're reaching out to you today for your support. On October 5th our beloved brother, Alex de La Torre, underwent a life-altering triple bypass surgery. Following the surgery, he received a diagnosis that has forever altered his life: Familial Hypercholesterolemia. Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) is a hereditary condition at birth that leads to dangerously high cholesterol levels. While Alex has shown immense strength and resilience, this unexpected surgery and diagnosis has been both physically and emotionally challenging for him, his wife Veronica, and their five children. Alex has always been a cherished family member and friend. He is loving, kind, and always willing to go above and beyond to help others in need. Since childhood, he has faced many medical challenges, and fortunately, God has walked beside him. Now, it’s our turn to rally around him and provide him with the support he needs.
