Support Alex Dawkins in Getting New Hearing Aids

Hello to everyone, my names Alex Dawkins and I am 23-year-old student and full-time employee working at a hotel at the moment. To be honest I've never been the type to set up something like this before, and I honestly don't know if doing this will help me out when I need it to, but I decided to give it a try and see how it goes. The reason I started this gofund me is to raise some money for some hearing aids that I need. I've had hearing loss since I was five, and recently my hearing aids have stopped working due to how long I've had them for and them being outdated as well, I've been using up all the life and benefits they had up until this point, and my insurance policy doesn't cover the purchasing of hearing aids. If I were to go through a hearing aid provider program as well of some sort, I'd have to reach my deductible first which costs almost double what my hearing aids go for anyways. All in all, if my hearing wasn't so bad I could wait it out until I find a job or insurance policy that covers hearing aids, but finding a good insurance policy is expensive, especially nowadays, and it's pretty hard to live in a world where hearing is an everyday necessity, and the affects it has over time on a person can be pretty debilitating emotionally. I just want to see how far this gofundme can help to reach my goal to get these hearing aids, and hopefully with your guys' help I can. The amount I put up to reach is how much the hearing aids I'm trying to get cost, they're Phonak which is a pretty well-known brand and have never done me wrong up until now of course. I talked it over with my audiologist and these hearing aids, considering my circumstances would be the best fit for me hearing and finance wise. Thank you for taking the time to read this, God bless.
