David Alexander Booth (Alex,) age 42, of Richmond, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on May 1st, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia McNeil Booth, his maternal grandmother, Barbara McNeil, and his paternal grandmother, Jacquelin Bowles. He is survived by the love of his life, Amy Kincaid, his bonus children Hunter and Caitlyn Taylor (grandpup Doctor Pepper), his niece Jordan Wills and her children Jayla and Jayleigh, his brother Patrick Booth, his father Steven Booth (Janis Grimes), his uncle David Booth, his best friend/brother
Steve-O, and countless members of his chosen family. Alex had a love for music and was an incredibly talented drummer as inspired by his loving uncle David for whom he was named. He recently gave his life to Christ and found a new love for playing worship music. He was a devoted partner, father, Pippie, and friend with an infectious smile and a charm that would capture a room. Alex battled a lifelong mental health and substance abuse disorder and while
the last years were spent in recovery through the work of Jesus, he continued to fight battles. God has called him home to live in paradise and perfection.

Our prayers are with Alex’s loved ones. To help relieve financial expenses for the memorial service and living expenses Alex assisted with, we are creating this and are thankful for everyone’s continued prayers, condolences, and contributions.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”
