Support Alex and Roni's Family After Fire Loss
Donation protected
Dear Supporters,
I am reaching out to share the story of my dear sister-friends, Alex and Roni, their mom, and the three wonderful children who recently faced unimaginable loss. My name is Treion, and I’ve had the privilege of knowing Alex and Roni for many years. I spent the last 11 years in sunny Southern California, where they welcomed me with open arms and love. Their homes were always a place of love, laughter, and community—the backdrop to countless game nights, parties, showers, and gatherings. It was a sanctuary where anyone in need of a place to go could find warmth and comfort. Generations of their family came together here, making it a true home for all.
The devastating California wildfires swept through Altadena, CA, destroying the family homes they had cherished for over 30 years. These homes held countless memories, serving as the heart of their lives and the foundation of their community.
Just hours before the Eaton Canyon fires engulfed their neighborhood, they were forced to evacuate with nothing but the clothes on their backs. While we are profoundly grateful that they escaped with their lives, the road ahead is steep. They are now displaced, staying with family, and beginning the daunting journey of rebuilding from nothing.
This is where we humbly ask for your help. The funds raised will go directly toward helping them rebuild their lives. Specifically, the donations will be used for:
Immediate essentials like clothing, toiletries, and food
Temporary housing support while they search for a new permanent home
Replacing lost items for the children, such as toys, books, and school supplies
Helping to rebuild and furnish their new home when the time comes
No donation is too small—every dollar counts and will be used to provide them with the necessities they need to start over. In addition to monetary support, they are in need of clothing, toys, books, and other resources for the children. If you have items to donate, please reach out to us directly.
Your support means more than words can express. Together, we can help them rebuild not just homes but a sense of security, hope, and community. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness during this time of rebuilding and healing. Thank you for standing with us and for offering a lifeline to a family who has lost so much.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Treion
