My name is Alex. I'm a 22 year old graduate student attending Northeastern University. I've had my pet frog, Fatso, for nearly 6 years. On Sunday 9/28/25, I had to take Fatso to the emergency room because he lost all control of his limbs. He has been hospitalized since, and his prognosis is not good without further care. The cause of his illness is severe impaction, and treatment has not been working. The only solution may be surgery. However, the vet bills are accruing and it is difficult for me to afford them. Surgery would be even more of a financial burden.

Fatso is my beloved childhood pet and I would do anything to help him, but I am also paying tuition and rent. I'm already over $1,000 into treatments for him. I need help. Any donations are appreciated.
