Alex is a 27-year veteran of the fire service and has bravely served the citizens of Reno and Northern Nevada since 2005 with the Reno Fire Department. During the Davis Fire Alex suffered a potentially career/life altering eye injury while helping protect homes in the St. James Village area. His crew was quick to render aid, and the medical support put in place through the Incident Management Team quickly got him to definitive care. He has a long road to recovery and will be away from work for the foreseeable future as he works to possibly regain his eyesight. Any financial aid would be greatly appreciated to help Alex and his wife through the challenging time.
