As many of you may know, on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, Al and Alex were involved in a devastating boating accident while doing what they love most—spending time together. In an instant, their lives were forever changed.

The road ahead will be long and incredibly challenging. Both Al and Alex are facing extensive medical care, including surgeries, rehabilitation, and ongoing therapy. As they focus on healing, the weight of medical bills and daily expenses continues to grow. Every day will bring new challenges, physically and emotionally, as they fight to heal and adjust to a new reality no one could have prepared them for.

What started as a normal day turned into something unimaginable. Their lives, and the lives of everyone who loves them, will never be the same.

Anyone who knows the Mayors knows they are the last people to ever ask for help. They are the ones who show up for everyone else—no matter the situation. Big Al has always been “the guy” who takes care of everything, wearing every hat and never asking for anything in return. Al and alex both are the type of people who have always been so strong for everyone else, and now this is a moment where they shouldn’t have to do it alone.

They need us.
