Update
I’m heartbroken to share that Alena’s mom passed away today after a long, brave fight with pancreatic cancer. Alena has been her only caregiver and support system these past four years, doing everything she could emotionally and financially.
We are now collecting donations to help cover the cost of the funeral. If you’re able to contribute or share this link, it would mean so much during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and generosity.

Help My Mom with Palliative Care
Hello, my name is Alena, and my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer (adenocarcinoma) in April 2021. Over these past four years, she has endured so much—two major surgeries and 30 rounds of chemotherapy. Twice she lost her hair, only for it to grow back, and she’s fought hard despite losing a lot of weight and facing countless setbacks.
When she was first diagnosed, doctors gave her only 6-8 months. But my mom is a fighter, and her strength has given us four precious years together. Now, however, the cancer has returned, and we’ve reached a critical moment. She needs quality palliative care to manage her symptoms and maintain her dignity, but I cannot afford it on my own.
I’m an only child and have been supporting her emotionally and financially throughout this journey. As much as I’ve tried, I’m now completely exhausted, both financially and mentally. That’s why I’m turning to you for help.
Your support, whether through donations or sharing this post, will help me give my mom the care she desperately needs during this time. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness and generosity.
