Alena was interviewed by the investigator on Joe Ward's case, Michael Owens, three years ago, and she gave a statement. All of the investigator's information was given to the Prosecuting Attorney, Joseph Canestraro. Yet, Alena's parents were never contacted by the Prosecuting Attorney. ALENA BLAND WANTED TO TESTIFY TO HELP PUT HER RAPIST BEHIND BARS, BUT SHE WAS NEVER GIVEN THAT OPPORTUNITY.
