Hello, my name is Devony Shepherd! I am a former student of Aleman. I've created this campaign to help assist Aleman in this time of need as he was unexpectedly let go from his job as a high school algebra teacher.

Aleman has been the most amazing teacher to me and so many other kids. Aleman personally helped me my freshman year of high school when I didn't understand math, let alone algebra. But surely, after showing up to school consistently and also attending after-school tutoring, I understood math for the first time in my life.

I'm sure I'm not the first person Aleman has helped either. During his time working at the school, he was also the National Honor Society sponsor, who we looked up to for guidance and help. Not to mention all of the hard work that Aleman has done, from helping people do their taxes to assisting with tutoring so kids can graduate or get their GED. He was and is your go-to guy at the school. Aleman has helped so many people through his life, from students to people, and now it's our turn to repay the favor and help him during this time of need.
