Hi, my name is Aleksandr Romadin, and I’m humbly asking for help for the first time.
In 2017, my life changed in an instant when I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. The crash left me with a T4 spinal cord injury and paralysis from the chest down. Since then, every day has been a combination of adapting, rebuilding, and finding ways to stay independent.
I’ve pushed through the challenges without asking for anything from anyone. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own. But now, I’m at a point where I truly need help.
My vehicle — which is specially set up so I can drive — is my only way to get around. It’s how I get to appointments, get groceries, take care of myself, and simply live life outside my home. Recently, the vehicle has developed issues that I cannot afford to repair on my own. Without it, I lose my mobility, my independence, and my ability to manage my daily life.
I’m asking for support so I can repair or replace what’s needed and continue living as independently as possible. Anything helps — truly. Even sharing this fundraiser makes a difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and thank you to anyone who is able to help. Your kindness means more than you know.
— Aleksandr Romadin
