Hello! My name is Aleks and I am a graduate student studying to get my Elementary Teaching license. I currently live with my parents and have been supporting them as best as I can, but recent developments have been putting a significant strain on our health and financial situation.

This year, my mom was diagnosed with an aggressive form of B-cell lymphoma after going to the ER for sciatic nerve pain and foot drop. Since her diagnosis in early October, she has been disabled and out of work. Our insurance has covered a great deal of our expenses, but her continued visits and hospital stays have been adding up, with medical bills being sent our way as a result.

I decided to start a GoFundMe page with hopes that, even with a dollar here or there, we will be able to deal with expenses as they add up for the next few months of her treatment while she remains disabled.
