Support Alejo Leanos' Fight for Life
Hi all,
First of all, thank you for taking the time to check out our GoFundMe. My name is Yulissa and this fundraiser is for my Tata, Alejo Leanos. My family and I find ourselves going through a difficult time in our lives because my grandfather's health has deteriorated at a rapid rate. He has been ill for the last 7 months, and had been in constant care of a couple of doctors but on November 20, 2024, he had to be rushed to the hospital in Juarez, Chihuahua where we were told at first that he only had days left to live. He's been suffering a series of complications; he had untreated pneumonia, bacteria and fluid in his lungs, he has kidney and liver failure. He hasn't been able to eat properly because he has esophageal ulcers and therefore needs to be fed through an IV. No more could be done at this hospital and my family decided our next best thing would be to transfer him to another hospital in Chihuahua, Chihuahua. His health continues to fluctuate; one day there are slight improvements, and then the next we are receiving news that there's complications again, but he is in much better care here. As a result, the hospital bills are more costly and it's becoming difficult to keep up with the costs for his care. If we would have listened to the doctors at the first hospital, we fear he would not have made it this far, and we are so immensely blessed that he is still putting up a fight because this is not his time yet. My Tata is one of the most strongest men that I know and now more than ever we are seeing it with how persistent he is to keep living. When the doctors gave us low rate of survival, he's proven them wrong. My family and I are humbly asking for your help. Whatever you can offer to our cause would be greatly appreciated; no amount is too small. And if you cannot provide monetary support, please spread the word. Thank you again, for taking the time to read this and thank you in advance for your support. God bless.
