It has now been over two months since Alejandro Mendieta, father of two young children (6 and 18 months) was detained indefinitely by ICE. The Mendieta family needs our financial support through these difficult and unprecedented times

Although Metro Surge has been reduced in the cities, ICE is still in our community, and on August 10th, they took one of our own. Alejandro is a devoted husband, loving father, and an important patriarchal figure in his community. Tragically, after his detainment, the young family was forced out of their home by their landlord, and have since had to move. Without Alejandro as the primary financial provider, the Mendieta family has fallen into financial hardship with moving and living expenses, extensive legal fees that keep growing, and the cost of raising two young children.

Alejandro is the cornerstone of his family, a wonderful husband and a hardworking father of a toddler and a second grader. It is critical that he is reunited with his family as soon as possible.

All funds will be sent directly to his wife and will be used to cover moving and living expenses along with legal fees. Your donation will help keep the Mendieta family housed and safe while we work to reunite Alejandro with his family.

Ya han pasado más de dos meses desde que Alejandro Mendieta, padre de dos niños pequeños de 6 años y 18 meses, fue detenido indefinidamente por ICE (Servicio de Inmigración y Control de Aduanas de Estados Unidos).La familia Mendieta necesita nuestro apoyo económico durante estos tiempos difíciles y sin precedentes.

Aunque el operativo Metro Surge se ha reducido en las ciudades, ICE sigue presente en nuestra comunidad y, el 10 de agosto, se llevaron a uno de los nuestros. Alejandro es un esposo dedicado, un padre amoroso y una figura paterna muy importante en su comunidad.

Trágicamente, después de su detención, la familia joven fue obligada por el propietario de su vivienda a desalojar su hogar y, desde entonces, ha tenido que mudarse. Sin Alejandro como principal proveedor económico, la familia Mendieta ha enfrentado graves dificultades financieras debido a los gastos de mudanza y manutención, los crecientes honorarios legales y los costos de criar a dos niños pequeños.

Alejandro es el pilar que mantiene unida a su familia, un esposo maravilloso y un padre trabajador de un niño pequeño y otro que cursa segundo grado de primaria. Es fundamental que pueda reunirse con su familia lo antes posible.

Todos los fondos se enviarán directamente a su esposa y se utilizarán para cubrir los gastos de mudanza y manutención, así como los honorarios legales.
