Alejandra, a dedicated cybersecurity professional and my friend, is facing an incredibly difficult health battle. She was recently diagnosed with deep infiltrating endometriosis, a severe and complex condition that is affecting several of her internal organs, including her uterus, left kidney, colon, and right ovary. During the diagnostic process, doctors also discovered a tumor in her right ovary, which has not yet been determined to be benign or malignant. Her surgery is scheduled for July 10th and is expected to last between 6 to 10 hours, highlighting the seriousness of her situation.
This diagnosis has turned Alejandra’s life upside down. She is responsible for covering 80% of her surgery costs out of pocket and will need to take at least a month off work to recover. The uncertainty surrounding her fertility, the possibility of cancer, and the emotional toll of this experience have been overwhelming. Despite these challenges, Alejandra remains resilient and hopeful, but she cannot face this alone.
We are raising funds to help Alejandra cover her surgery costs and support her during her recovery. Any additional funds will go toward her daily living expenses while she is unable to work. Your support will make a real difference in her life, helping her focus on healing and giving her hope during this incredibly tough time.
I will be transferring all funds directly to Alejandra.
