Alejandra Marely Hernandez-Hernandez fue una joven brillante y resiliente cuya vida estuvo marcada por el valor y la bondad. En febrero de 2025, recibimos la desgarradora noticia de que Alejandra había desarrollado tres tumores más en la cavidad abdominal. Valientemente se sometió nuevamente a quimioterapia y todos esperábamos que se recuperara como antes. Pero esta vez, las cosas fueron diferentes. Su condición empeoró a medida que los tumores crecían, haciendo que su estómago se hinchara y sus órganos fueran desplazados. A pesar de todo, Alejandra siguió luchando, rodeada del amor de su familia y amigos. El 14 de enero de 2026, con solo 21 años, falleció por insuficiencia respiratoria causada por la propagación de los tumores.

Alejandra deja a su amorosa madre y a su hermana menor, por quienes luchó con todas sus fuerzas, sin querer dejarlas solas. Ahora acudimos a nuestra comunidad en busca de ayuda para cubrir los gastos funerarios y los servicios para honrar la memoria de Alejandra. Alejandra Marely Hernandez-Hernandez was a bright and resilient young woman whose life was marked by both courage and kindness. At just 18, she faced her first battle with cancer when a tumor was discovered on her ovary. In 2022, she underwent her first surgery and, for a time, went into remission. However, her fight was far from over. Soon after, a second tumor appeared on her uterus, leading to another surgery. Despite these challenges, Alejandra remained hopeful and determined, inspiring everyone around her with her strength and positivity. No matter how hard things became medically, she was always smiling, bringing light and hope to those around her.

In February 2025, we received the heartbreaking news that Alejandra had developed three more tumors in her abdominal cavity. She bravely went through chemotherapy again, and we all hoped she would recover as she had before. But this time, things were different. Her condition worsened as the tumors grew, causing her stomach to swell and her organs to be pushed aside. Through it all, Alejandra continued to fight, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. On January 14, 2026, at just 21 years old, she passed away from respiratory failure caused by the spreading tumors.

Alejandra is survived by her loving mother and her younger sister, whom she fought so hard for, never wanting to leave them alone. We are now reaching out to our community for help with funeral costs and services to honor Alejandra’s memory.
