Support Alejandra's Doctorate Dream

Hi! My name is Alejandra (most of you may or may not know me)

As a first-generation Latina, I am currently attending an ivy league university to obtain my doctorate degree by next year (fingers crossed). However, I have run into a bit of a stump in the financial department. I have procured already a steep amount of loans and don’t receive any fiscal help from my family. I provide most of the financial security for myself and my siblings given that my household is run by a single mother. I want to try and alleviate my financial burden in any way I can without a heap of drowning debt. I realize it is a lot to ask, and everybody goes through the endless cycle of debt, but any and all contributions would be appreciated immensely. It would be a huge honor to be able to represent the 10% of Latinos that graduate in higher education every year.
