My name is Aleik, and I’m raising funds to attend a 10-day music camp in Los Angeles dedicated to helping independent musicians like me grow in business, songwriting, and personal development. This camp is a unique chance for me to learn how to record myself professionally, market my music and shows, and set meaningful goals for my career. I’ll also have the opportunity to network with artists, producers, songwriters, and other professionals who can help me take my music to the next level.
My journey in music began by watching my Pops perform and listening to my grandpa’s old funk records. At first, I was motivated by the dream of supporting my family and making a living doing what I love. But after losing my music mentor Ric Delozier and my mom, I realized that my purpose in music had to be deeper. Now, I’m searching for the hunger inside me that drives my creativity and helps me give back through my music. This camp will help me stay true to my values and develop as an artist without compromising my morals.
I’m seeking support to cover travel and lodging expenses, including plane tickets, Uber rides to the camp, and meals during my stay. Any help will bring me closer to this life-changing experience and allow me to continue growing as an artist and a person. Thank you for believing in my journey.
